Happy New Year Yogis!

Milo Says Be Happy I've been so pleased to see so many of you attending classes as of late. I know the New Year can be a time when we set Intentions for the year ahead. This can include a renewed commitment to our Asana practice. Be aware to be realistic with our goals so as (or "psoas" as the case may be) to set ourselves up for success. Maybe you want to encourage yourself to attend more classes or incorporate a home practice. Whatever your intention, be sure to include restfulness.

This time of year is a great time to plant seeds that can take hold and sprout into seedlings in the Spring. These will grow into flowering plants in the Summer and eventually fruits for the end of Summer and early Fall. The rains ARE coming and we want to be prepared for the depth of Winter ahead... "We've only just begun..." (insert melody).

On that note, I am holding my monthly Restorative Class this Sunday, January 22nd from 5:30-7pm at Yoga Center Santa Cruz. The cost is $15 which is a separate payment from the "Dedicated Yogi Passes" that you all buy from me. We will take some time to breathe deeply and "let go" in order to better quiet the ramblings of the mind. This allows us to better hear our truth and Life Purpose softly singing in our hearts.

Thanks for your presence and your loving grace that you bring to the mat and beyond...
