Mommyoga

Developing a Home Practice:  A 6 week series with sessions that include: short lectures and a full hour of Yoga practice to awaken the Yogi within; Discussions on the trials and joys of practicing Yoga on your own; Help with understanding the how, when, where, & why of a home Yoga practice; a wealth of information to assist you with development of a safe and rewarding practice at home or in a classroom.

Beginning 1-2: No previous Yoga experience is necessary. Everyone is welcome to attend. This is an excellent choice for students who want to explore the fundamentals of Yoga as well as experienced practitioners who are looking for a review of the basics. We will explore the breath, alignment, and balance through the postures.

All Levels 1-3:  This is a mixed class designed to honor the needs of a wider spectrum of students.  This is an excellent choice for continuing practitioners who want to deepen their practice beyond the introductory stage. Inversions will be explored when suitable for each student.

Intermediate 2-3:  This class will emphasize strength and conditioning as well as flexibility and suppleness. We will continue to explore the inversions with special attention paid to healthful alignment in both headstand and shoulderstand. At least one year of prior asana practice is preferred.
